Role Description This is a part time, on-site Chef role located in Pittsburgh, PA. The Chef will plan and prepare customized, nutritious meals in clients’ homes, including menu planning based on dietary needs, grocery shopping, and cooking multiple meals per visit. The role includes safe food handling, kitchen organization, and cleanup after each session.

The Chef will communicate with clients about meal preferences, provide friendly and respectful service, and maintain consistent scheduling and punctuality. The position requires working independently in client homes while following company guidelines and ensuring a professional, trustworthy presence.

Qualifications

• Strong culinary skills, including meal planning, scratch cooking, and safe food handling.
• Ability to work independently in client homes, managing time, kitchen organization, and cleanup efficiently.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-focused and respectful approach.
• Understanding of nutrition and special diets (e.g., low-sodium, diabetic-friendly, heart-healthy) is beneficial.
• Prior professional cooking experience in restaurants, catering, or personal chef services preferred.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel locally to client homes in Allegheny County and surrounding areas.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and confidentiality.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift groceries and kitchen items as needed.
