What You'll Do

• Develop and implement efficient and sustainable processes on product intent and pilot lines
• Work closely with venders to specify custom or off the shelf tools
• Work with vendors to bring up tools and guide their integration when they land on site
• Make data-driven decisions and recommendations to assess process capability. Make improvements based on process data upstream and throughout the line.
• Work with collaborators to ensure that appropriate metrology and monitoring tools are installed along the line
• Hand off a cohesive system and process to the operations team by supplying standard operating procedures/work instructions and training
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, quality, and safetyWhat You'll Bring:
• Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Materials/Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in process engineering, with a focus on wet chemistry, heat treatment, electroplating or coatings
• Experience with process optimization and statistical process control (SPC) techniques and data analysis tools such as JMP, Minitab, Python or similar software
• Ability to communicate with vendors about equipment requirements or design. Ability to read or use CAD/SolidWorks/similar is a plus.
• Knowledge in safety regulations and best practices related to materials processing
• A bias-to-action when it comes to identifying issues and solving problems in a timely and effective manner
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
