NextGen Energy Careers is hiring on behalf of Capital Energy for a Customer Success Operations Manager to lead our post-installation customer experience team.

This is not a traditional customer service role. We’re looking for an experienced leader who thrives in solving complex customer issues, leading a small team, and creating positive outcomes in challenging situations.

You’ll serve as the final point of escalation for our most complex customer concerns while working closely with operations, compliance, and executive leadership to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and mentor a team of customer success professionals focused on delivering an exceptional customer experience.
• Manage high-level customer escalations from initial intake through final resolution.
• Partner with internal departments to proactively resolve installation, service, and operational issues.
• Communicate directly with homeowners throughout the service process, providing timely updates and clear expectations.
• Manage relationships and responses involving the Better Business Bureau (BBB), Arizona Registrar of Contractors (ROC), Attorney General, and finance partners when necessary.
• Develop proactive solutions that improve customer satisfaction and reduce recurring issues.
• Monitor customer feedback and online reputation, helping drive positive customer experiences and 5-star reviews.
• Collaborate with leadership on process improvements and operational initiatives.
• Utilize Core 365, Microsoft Office, and solar monitoring platforms including Tesla, Enphase, and SolarEdge to manage customer cases and service requests.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in customer service leadership, customer success, operations, or project management.
• Proven experience leading teams and managing high-level customer escalations.
• Strong conflict resolution and de-escalation skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
• Experience working across multiple departments to solve complex operational issues.
• Comfortable learning and utilizing multiple software platforms and business systems.
• Solar industry experience is a plus, but not required.

Compensation & Benefits

• $25–$28 per hour, depending on experience

• Hybrid schedule:
• In-office: Monday, Wednesday, Friday (Tempe, AZ)
• Remote: Tuesday and Thursday
