Brief Description
Reporting to the Art Director, the Senior Graphic Designer is a self-driven creative professional responsible for handling design projects from initial request through final delivery across print, digital, web, email, and presentation formats.
This role translates complex business and marketing needs into clear, compelling visual solutions, independently identifies and resolves open questions, and builds the alignment needed to keep work moving. Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma is essential, along with strong judgment, organization, and communication.
The ideal candidate combines excellent craft and visual storytelling with curiosity about emerging creative technology and new ways of working.
Key Responsibilities
- Own design projects from intake and concept development through production, quality control, and final delivery
- Design and produce on-brand visual assets across print, digital, web, email, social, and presentation formats
- Develop marketing collateral including brochures, one-pagers, campaign assets, email templates, and web graphics
- Create infographics, icon systems, diagrams, and other visual frameworks that make complex information clear and engaging
- Design polished pitch decks and executive presentations using Pitch, PowerPoint, and Keynote
- Proactively identify missing inputs, unclear requirements, dependencies, and decisions, then find the right information or engage the right stakeholders to keep projects moving
- Communicate directly with internal partners to clarify objectives, recommend solutions, explain design rationale, and build alignment
- Apply and extend brand systems consistently while using sound judgment when established standards do not address a specific need
- Work cross-functionally with creative, marketing, business development, product, and other teams to deliver effective visual communication
- Maintain organized brand assets, templates, working files, and final deliverables so work can be efficiently reused and updated
- Stay current on design practices, production standards, AI-enabled creative tools, and emerging workflows that can improve creative quality or efficiency
Qualifications
- An online portfolio demonstrating sophisticated work across print, digital, web, and presentation formats
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience
- 5+ years of professional graphic design experience, ideally within a corporate, agency, or in-house creative environment
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, and strong proficiency in Figma
- Working proficiency in Pitch, Keynote, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office
- Excellent typography, layout, composition, information design, and visual storytelling skills
- Strong understanding of brand systems and the judgment to extend them thoughtfully across new applications
- Demonstrated ability to independently scope work, resolve ambiguity, manage competing priorities, and move projects forward without waiting for every detail to be provided
- Experience with, or strong interest in, agent prompting, prompt engineering, and AI-enabled creative tools for ideation, exploration, production, or workflow improvement is a plus
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to ask focused questions, seek out answers, and present clear creative rationale
