POSITION SUMMARY

HEAD USA is recruiting a Junior Product Manager for Racquet Sports to support our rapidly growing business. This position will report to the Vice President of Marketing located in Phoenix, Arizona.

The individual will be responsible for assisting in the development of product and marketing programs tailored for the US and Canadian (North American) Racquet Sports market place.

This is a hands-on role that will help directly support the marketing and sales efforts in the US and Canada. The position will require a passion for the racquet sports, a sound knowledge of the marketplace/retail landscape and an engaging and dynamic personality.

This position will work very closely with the North American Sales, Communications, Logistics and Customer Service departments. Also will be a key liaison with the Headquarter Team located in Austria.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the product development of bags, racquetball, squash and the related accessories for the North American market

Assist in the development of sales and marketing programs for the North American market

Assist in the forecasting and product planning with the Logistics Team

Work closely with the Business Managers and Communication’s Team to develop marketing and sales campaigns

Liaison with the North American Sales Teams and Global Teams headquartered in Austria

In order to perform the job successfully we are looking for the following competencies. An individual should possess and/or demonstrate the following:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field and/or equivalent work experience (MBA would be an asset)

2-3 years of Product Management experience (or equivalent education or work experience)

Strong understanding of business and marketing both domestic and globally (asset)

Sports retail and/or racquet sports industry experience (an asset)

Flexibility to adapt to change and moving priorities

Hard work ethic

Goal/task oriented and driven

Strong organizational and project management skills

Excellent written and communication skills

Thrives in a Team environment, however is also self-guided

A passion for sports and active living – racquet sports passion would be an asset

Innovative and creative mind set (asset)

Proficiencies in MS Windows programs (Power Point, Excel, Outlook, Word) is a must

SAP and Essbase experience (asset)

This position would be based out of our US Racquet Sports Office in Phoenix, Arizona.

Estimate travel up to 20% of the time under "normal conditions"

Salary range $55,000 - $70,000 depending on experience
