Senior Corporate Counsel – Mergers & Acquisitions

LHH Legal Recruitment is assisting a Fortune 500 industry leader is seeking Senior Corporate Counsel, Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) to join its highly respected legal department. This is an outstanding opportunity to lead a team of attorneys and legal professionals while serving as a strategic advisor on complex corporate, securities, governance, and M&A matters.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team supporting M&A, securities, corporate governance, finance, joint ventures, and strategic transactions
• Advise senior leadership on complex corporate and legal matters
• Oversee SEC reporting, corporate governance, and compliance initiatives
• Manage outside counsel, legal budgets, and department projects
• Mentor and develop legal talent

Qualifications

• JD and active bar membership in good standing
• 10+ years of experience in M&A, securities, and corporate governance matters
• Experience in a large law firm, public company, or sophisticated corporate environment
• Strong leadership, communication, and business judgment
