Senior Estimator - Commercial Drywall & Metal Stud Framing

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Drywall Estimator who understands complex commercial interiors and can accurately estimate large-scale projects involving metal stud framing, drywall, acoustical ceilings, insulation, specialty wall systems, and tenant improvement work.

We're specifically interested in candidates who have worked for respected commercial wall and ceiling contractors where estimating sophisticated commercial drywall and framing packages is the norm.

What You'll Be Doing

• Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and estimates for commercial drywall and framing projects.
• Analyze plans, specifications, addenda, and bid documents.
• Price metal stud framing, drywall systems, specialty ceilings, insulation, FRP, shafts, acoustical assemblies, and related scopes.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricing.
• Identify scope gaps, value engineering opportunities, and risk factors.
• Collaborate with operations, project management, and field leadership during preconstruction.
• Participate in bid reviews, budget development, and proposal preparation.
• Support negotiated and hard-bid projects across commercial construction sectors.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

5+ years of commercial drywall estimating experience

Proven experience with

• Metal stud framing
• Drywall systems
• Acoustical ceilings (ACTs)
• Plastering
• EIFS
• Stucco
• Commercial interior build-outs
• Large-scale commercial construction projects

Additional qualifications

• Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods, assemblies, and sequencing.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
• Experience using estimating software and digital takeoff tools.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Background

Experience estimating projects for commercial wall and ceiling contractors performing complex commercial drywall and framing work.
