Part Time Salon Barista

Overview

We are looking for m energetic, personable, and experienced Barista to our growing team! This position will primarily be based inside our new salon cafe concept while also offering opportunities to work private events, pop ups, and festivals throughout the Philadelphia area.

We're looking for someone passionate about coffee, takes in creating exceptional customer experiences, and enjoys working in a fun fast paced environment.

Duties

• Prepare high quality espresso drinks, matcha and specialty beverages.
• Provide warm, friendly, and professional customer service.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting workspace.
• Operate the POS system and handle transactions accurately.
• Restock inventory and assist with daily opening and closing duties.
• Help create a welcoming atmosphere that keeps customers coming back.
• Represent the brand with professionalism and positivity.

Experience

• Previous Barista experience
• Familiarity with POS systems such as square or Toast.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and processing transactions accurately.
• Experience with espresso machine and grinder.
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
