Project Civil Engineer

Attention, Civil Engineering Masterminds!

We're seeking a Project Engineer for a full-time role in our Philadelphia office. This position involves leading diverse public and private site development projects.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage multi-discipline projects in Philadelphia and the surrounding region.
• Oversee the development of Land Development Plans, including engineering design drawings and reports.
• Coordinate permits for large-scale projects with regulatory agencies.
• Provide expertise in hydrologic/hydraulic analysis for Flood Control and Water Quality compliance.
• Delegate tasks to Junior Engineers, guiding them in Stormwater Management, Utility Coordination, and Erosion & Sediment Control Design.
• Manage multiple projects, monitor schedules & budgets, and conduct field inspections as needed.
• Regularly meet with clients and prepare proposals.

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 7+ years of professional experience in Engineering, preferably with Land Development projects.
• PE license in PA or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Preferred Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of Land Development in Philadelphia and the surrounding region.
• Management or Project Management experience.
• Proficiency in site design functions and experience with Hydrology and Hydraulics modeling tools.
• Advanced proficiency with engineering tools, especially AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Familiarity with project management software and standard office applications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication skills.
