Position Summary

Barton Malow Company is seeking a Sr. Project Engineer to join our team on a mission-critical data center project near Philadelphia, PA. This role involves planning, developing, coordinating, supervising, and monitoring onsite construction engineering activities for projects.

The Sr. Project Engineer will act as a liaison with architects, engineers, and owners regarding project progress and changes, ensuring seamless communication and execution.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for resolution and tracking of project issues.
• Manage all project document control.
• Process submittals and RFI’s.
• Support Procurement in the distribution of bidding documents and tracking of bidders.
• Maintain project schedule.
• Prepare and issue meeting minutes.
• Assist with planning and managing site logistics.
• Enforce corporate safety policies on jobsite.
• Receive and review/evaluate contractor quotations for changes and process change orders.
• Manage plan review and approval process with local and state municipalities.

Required Knowledge, Education, Experience, Skills, And Abilities

• 4-year engineering, construction management or related degree.
• 3+ years of documented Mission Critical - Data Center experience from inception to completion.
• 4-5 years of relevant professional experience or related construction internship experience.
• OSHA 30 Hour certification preferred.
• Well-organized, detail-oriented, and ability to be self-directed in problem-solving.
• Proactive attitude with commitment to safety.
