Senior Electrical Engineer, MEP

In October 2025, JB&B joined forces with Trinity Consultants, expanding its capabilities under Trinity’s Built Environment division and offering access to a broader portfolio of international projects, enhanced career mobility, and interdisciplinary collaboration with experts in sustainability, environmental science, and digital infrastructure.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Electrical department in our Philadelphia office. In this leadership role, you will manage projects from concept through completion, lead project teams, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with firm leadership to deliver high-quality engineering solutions while driving business development.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead conceptual design efforts, including system criteria, equipment room sizing, and building stack development.
• Guide project teams through construction documentation and project completion.
• Manage review of shop drawings, RFIs, contractor change orders, and conduct site visits and punch lists.
• Establish and manage project schedules to ensure efficient resource use and timely task completion.
• Prepare proposals and additional services, coordinating reviews and approvals with Partners.
• Coach and mentor staff, providing performance feedback and supporting professional development goals.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 10–14 years of electrical engineering experience.
• Proficiency in design calculations and software tools such as Revit and AutoCAD.
• Strong project management and leadership skills.
• Deep understanding of trade-specific scopes, codes, and coordination with other disciplines.
• Knowledge of documentation requirements for all project phases (SD, DD, CD, specifications).

Estimated Compensation: $122,000–$140,000 base salary per year
