The goal is to deliver a modern, user-centric digital experience with a strong brand identity, improved navigation, and a mobile-first approach. The platform serves millions of users daily and plays a critical role in delivering real-time information and services.

Key areas of focus include

• Expanding flexible content capabilities
• Strengthening search engine optimization (SEO)
• Increasing user engagement through features such as subscriptions, alerts, and interactive tools

The technical environment includes Drupal CMS, modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue.js), real-time data integrations, and multiple third-party systems. This is a mission-critical platform where performance, scalability, and visibility are essential.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SEO / Digital Optimization Specialist to drive search performance, improve visibility, and support digital growth across a large-scale platform. This role is critical in ensuring strong organic performance throughout the redesign and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies aligned with business goals
• Optimize site architecture, metadata, and on-page elements
• Conduct technical SEO audits and implement improvements
• Monitor keyword rankings, traffic trends, and overall search performance
• Collaborate with content, UX, and development teams to ensure SEO best practices
• Support analytics, reporting, and data-driven decision-making
• Ensure SEO integrity during content migration and site redesign

Required Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on SEO experience
• Proven experience working on large-scale or high-traffic websites
• Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience maintaining or improving rankings during major website redesigns
• Strong analytical skills with experience in SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs)
• Knowledge of technical SEO (site speed, structured data, crawlability, indexing)
• Familiarity with CMS platforms, preferably Drupal
• Experience working in regulated environments (e.g., government, healthcare, finance)
• Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and their impact on SEO
