Lead Early Head Start Teacher

Learning Central Preschool located in West Philadelphia, PA is seeking Lead Teacher for an infant/toddler Early Head Start classroom. LCP is a full service learning facility . LCP is a Keystone Star 4 early learning facility. Our mission is to provide our students with excellence in early learning and childcare.

We are actively seeking the best candidate and have an immediate opening for an Associate Degreed Teacher in Early Childhood Education.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:EDUCATION

Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education from Accredited College/University

Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education from Accredited Community/Junior College PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT HAVE EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION CREDITS OR CREDENTIALS.

Recent Childcare Clearances such as FBI, Child Abuse, PA Criminal Check and Physical w TB

EXPERIENCE

1-2 years of teaching experience assisting or leading a preschool or toddler classroom is preferred.OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices

• Energetic personality who can communicate well with children and their parents
• MUST be a positive team player with a proactive, 'can do' approach
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to be flexible in assignment
• Excellent language skills and written communication

Salary is commensurate with ECE (Early Childhood Education) credits and experience. Compensation: minimum $24.00-$29.00 depending on educational level and accredited college association.
