Full-time ARP Teacher Role in Brent, Greater London
Our client, a leading educational institution in Brent, Greater London, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced ARP (Additional Resource Provision) Teacher to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional educator to make a significant impact on the lives of young learners within a supportive and nurturing environment.
As an ARP Teacher, you will be responsible for providing outstanding teaching and learning experiences to students with a range of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). Your role will involve designing and delivering tailored lessons, implementing evidence-based interventions, and collaborating with a dedicated team of professionals to ensure the holistic development and wellbeing of your students.
The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of SEND best practices, a passion for inclusive education, and a proven track record of driving student progress. You will be adept at creating engaging and differentiated learning opportunities, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom culture, and working closely with parents, carers, and other stakeholders to support the unique needs of each student.
Salary-wise, this role offers a competitive remuneration package of £40,317 - £62,496 per year, plus a SEN Allowance, reflecting the importance and value our client places on this critical position.
To be considered for this role, you will need to demonstrate the following qualifications, skills, and experience:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification recognised in the UK
Extensive experience working with students with SEND, including a strong understanding of various learning needs and effective teaching strategies
Excellent subject knowledge and the ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that cater to the diverse needs of your students
Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with parents, carers, and a multidisciplinary team of professionals
A commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest SEND research and best practices
Additional qualifications or training in SEND, such as a PGCE in SEND or a specialist teaching qualification
Experience working in an ARP or specialist SEND setting
Knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and familiarity with relevant legislation and policies
Strong ICT skills and the ability to utilise technology to enhance teaching and learning
