About The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and interactive Class Teacher to join our supportive and collaborative team. As the Class Teacher you will plan and deliver engaging learning on a daily basis, developing exciting and innovative methods that stimulate interest and excitement in the classroom.

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, dedicated and creative class teacher who has a passion for teaching and learning.

It's not necessarily the length of your experience as a class teacher that we're most interested in, it's your passion and commitment to our mission, ensuring every child, whatever their background, receives a high quality education. This is for a Year 5 post and experience in Yr5 or 6 will be preferred.

This advert closes at noon on Aug 28, 2026The ideal Class Teacher will be someone who is:* A great communicator who develops positive relationships with young children* Understanding of the educational, welfare and social needs of the children whom we are supporting* Able to develop and maintain an imaginative and inclusive learning environment* Confident in using a range of resources to make the classroom engaging * Enthusiastic and committed to working as part of a team * Able to contribute to the wider life of the trust* Committed to raise the achievement of all students of all abilitiesThis post is a customer-facing position and falls within the scope of the Code of Practice on English Language Requirement for Public Sector Workers.

The school has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements.
