With a strong commitment to Net Zero, this is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded Legal Counsel to play a key role in supporting continued growth.
As Legal Counsel, you will work closely with the business to provide practical, solutions-focused legal support across a range of commercial and project matters within the renewable energy space.
Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a range of commercial and project contracts, including EPC agreements, PPAs, and O&M contracts
Supporting renewable energy projects from development through to operation
Providing clear, pragmatic legal advice to internal stakeholders across the business
Identifying and managing legal risk while enabling commercial objectives
Working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
Supporting the wider legal function as the business continues to scale
A qualified solicitor (England & Wales or equivalent) with 2–8 years’ experience in legal roles (in-house or private practice)
Strong background in the renewable energy sector, ideally with exposure to BESS and/or wind projects
Experience working with EPC contracts, Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) agreements
Commercially minded with the ability to balance legal risk and business priorities
Adaptable, proactive, and comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-moving environment
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
