Sales Director, Government Sector

HERE is hiring a Sales Director for the government sector, joining the EMEA sales team in London. The role is hybrid, with an expectation of working from the office on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

This is an individual contributor role carrying its own sales target, not a people management role. You will expand the HERE Enterprise Browser footprint across large UK government and public sector organisations, building on the company's existing work in the United States. The territory is the UK.

Responsibilities

• Build and mature a pipeline through proactive prospecting, direct contact and account networking, using your own network alongside the company's sales technology and AI tools
• Run sales campaigns and hit annual targets using the MEDDICC sales process, and report clearly on opportunity progression
• Build and sustain client relationships across the full sales cycle
• Develop insight into security and productivity trends, enterprise challenges and digital transformation, and apply it to customer-specific priorities
• Learn the product and underlying technology well enough to explain it to business leaders as well as engineering and security teams; represent HERE at industry events

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of direct enterprise SaaS sales experience selling into government or the public sector
• Demonstrable track record of generating and closing enterprise SaaS deals in UK government and public sector
• Knowledge of the UK government ecosystem
• Experience selling enterprise platform tools and generating your own pipeline from outbound outreach
• Experience working with partners for lead generation and joint opportunities
• Ability to pick up technical concepts and turn them into a clear value proposition
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills
