Real Estate Fund Services Sales Director - eFinancialCareers

Our client, a dynamic and global Fund, Corporate and Private Client Services Provider, is looking to hire a senior Sales VP or Director to drive new revenue growth across its Real Estate, Infrastructure, and Natural Resources client base in Europe.

Role and Responsibilities

This role is focused on originating, managing the end-to-end sales process, and closing new business opportunities with fund managers, asset owners, developers, and corporates within the Real Assets ecosystem.

The successful candidate will develop strategic relationships, build a strong pipeline of opportunities, and collaborate closely with other members of the sales team as well as product and delivery teams to deliver high value, tailored solutions to clients.

• Develop and execute business development plans across Real Estate, Infrastructure, Natural Resources, and related sectors.
• Originate, manage the end-to-end sales process and close new opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with senior decision-makers across target accounts and industry networks.
• Maintain a high-quality sales pipeline with accurate forecasting and regular reporting.
• Develop account plans for strategic prospects and clients, identifying opportunities for cross-selling and long-term growth.
• Partner with product specialists, operations teams, and subject matter experts to deliver compelling client solutions.
• Execute targeted market campaigns, including competitive displacement and client acquisition initiatives.
• Gather and communicate market intelligence and client feedback to help shape the firm’s products, services, and commercial strategy.
• Represent the firm at industry conferences, networking events, and client meetings.
• Maintain an up-to-date understanding of industry trends, regulatory developments, and emerging opportunities across real assets and private markets.
• Contribute to team success by sharing best practices and supporting junior colleagues where appropriate.

Background and Experience

• 5+ years of business development or sales experience within financial services, fund services, real assets, private markets, or related sectors.
• Demonstrable track record of originating and winning new business opportunities.
• Experience selling complex solutions and managing multiple stakeholders throughout the sales process.
• Strong understanding of real assets, private markets, and multi-jurisdictional fund structures.
• Strong understanding of core fund services products and aptitude to learn new products and services.
• Proven ability to develop networks and build relationships with senior decision-makers.
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify client needs and translate them into solutions.
• Experience managing a sales pipeline and delivering against revenue targets.
• Excellent presentation, communication, negotiation and risk management skills.
• Self-motivated, highly organised, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
• Experience working across multiple jurisdictions and with international clients would be advantageous.
• Fluent English. Additional European language skills are desirable but not essential.
