We are seeking a talented and experienced Sous Chef to join our busy and well-established Indian restaurant in London. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate chef with strong leadership skills and extensive experience in authentic Indian cuisine.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Head Chef in the day-to-day management of the kitchen.
• Prepare and present high-quality authentic Indian dishes to consistently high standards.
• Supervise and train junior kitchen staff.
• Maintain food quality, consistency, and portion control.
• Ensure compliance with food hygiene, health, and safety regulations.
• Assist with menu development, stock control, and ordering.
• Help manage kitchen operations during busy service periods.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef in an Indian restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of traditional and contemporary Indian cuisine.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
