Job Overview

Information Tech Consultants Ltd (ITC) is looking for a skilled Junior Python Developer to join our growing Data Science team. The ideal candidate will have strong Python development experience and hands-on knowledge of backend application development, APIs, and databases.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain scalable Python applications
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services
• Work with databases and develop efficient data-driven applications
• Write clean, reusable, and production-ready Python code
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications
• Collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams
• Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field
• 2–5 years of professional experience in Python development
• Strong proficiency in Python
• Experience with Django, Flask, or FastAPI
• Hands-on experience developing REST APIs
• Understanding of microservices architecture
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB
• Familiarity with Git/version control
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Knowledge of Docker
• Exposure to CI/CD
• Experience or interest in Data, AI, or Machine Learning

Additional Requirements
