Junior Finance Analyst

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Finance Analyst to join our dynamic finance team. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Analyse financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Support the preparation of management reports and presentations.
• Help with the development and maintenance of budgets and forecasts.
• Monitor actual performance against budgeted figures and provide insights on variances.
• Collect, organise, and maintain financial data from various sources.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial information in systems and reports.
• Provide analytical support for business decisions by creating models, scenarios, or projections.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather relevant data for decision-making processes.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency within the finance function.
• Participate in special projects as assigned by the finance team or management.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, formulas)
• Familiarity with financial software or ERP systems is a plus (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
• Strong numerical aptitude with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to interpret complex data sets and present findings clearly.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and communicate financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
• Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and grow professionally.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
