About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Data Analyst to support our risk management team by extracting and compiling data for monthly risk reports. This role offers an excellent opportunity for early-career data professionals to develop skills in SQL, Google Sheets, and handling large datasets like those in BigQuery, while gaining exposure to risk management practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in extracting data from the central Risk system using SQL queries.
• Compile and organize data into monthly risk management reports using Google Sheets.
• Collaborate with senior team members to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Learn to manage large datasets using BigQuery under guidance.
• Maintain high attention to detail in all data-related tasks.
• Support efforts to improve reporting processes within the team.

Qualifications

• Basic experience with SQL and the ability to write simple queries.
• Proficiency in Google Sheets, including functions and data organization.
• Willingness to learn and develop skills in BigQuery or similar platforms.
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical work approach.
• Good communication skills and effective team collaboration.
• Some familiarity or interest in risk management or financial services.
• Interest in data visualization tools such as Google Data Studio, Tableau, or Power BI. Experience or coursework in data analysis or reporting.
