Senior Projects Engineer - London

This is a fantastic opportunity offering a competitive salary and benefits package for an experienced and driven Senior Projects Engineer, who wishes to progress within a dynamic and expanding engineering firm.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Projects Engineer to join our dynamic team at Acorn Integrated Systems. This role involves leading the delivery of BMS projects across high-profile sites, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest technical standards.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of delivering small to mid-scale projects.
• Support sales and project teams with site surveys and technical input.
• Review project handovers for technical and financial compliance.
• Issue weekly progress reports to clients and directors.
• Coordinate design elements, raise RFIs, and submit technical submittals.
• Source and liaise with subcontractors for panel builds and installation.
• Attend and contribute to client and site-based meetings.
• Assist with procurement and authorisation of project equipment.
• Provide input on financial aspects including valuations and variations.
• Support commissioning progress and internal expenditure tracking.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety procedures and risk assessments.
• Maintain compliance with company standards and operational procedures.

Qualifications And Experience Required

• CSCS Card (Essential)
• Manufacturer Product Training (Essential)
• SSSTS (Desirable)
• Proven experience in design and commissioning of BMS systems (Trend, Tridium, Niagara-based systems such as Centraline or Distech).
• Strong experience producing technical documentation including descriptions of operations and points lists.
• Proficient in software production and graphics.
• Comfortable managing site labour and working closely with clients and subcontractors.
• High attention to detail in quality and cost control.
