Assistant Store Manager - Luxury Fashion Retail

Vert is looking for an experienced, thoughtful Assistant Store Manager to join our team. This is a key role within the business, working closely alongside the owners to support day-to-day operations while delivering exceptional customer experiences.

This position is ideal for someone who leads with service, thrives in sales, and enjoys being deeply involved in both people and process.

The Role

As Assistant Store Manager, you will help oversee the daily rhythm of the store while acting as a trusted support to the owners, who are actively involved in management. You’ll play a hands-on role across sales, clientelling, team leadership, and operations — helping ensure everything runs seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service and drive sales on the floor
• Build and nurture strong client relationships through thoughtful clientelling
• Support and help manage the retail team, with the ability to motivate, inspire, and drive performance
• Lead by example and foster a positive, engaged team environment
• Assist with scheduling, daily operations, and maintaining store standards
• Work closely with the owners on business needs, priorities, and growth
• Develop strong product knowledge and share it confidently with both clients and the team
• Support social media and in-store brand presence
• Help ensure the store runs smoothly, efficiently, and beautifully day to day
