E-learning Content Writer (Financial Services/ AI/ Content)

Position: Financial Education Content Writer/ AI Content Writer

Client: Financial Information Services – Financial Education Client

Type : 3 month contract - 20-25 hour per week

Rate: 60-70/hr incorporated - can be flexible for candidates with extensive financial services and AI experience

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of experience in Financial Services, Learning & Development, or a combination of both.

-Deep understanding of AI in Financial Services, including emerging AI capabilities, practical business applications, risks, limitations, governance considerations, and the importance of maintaining human judgment.

-Experience creating AI-enabled learning content or incorporating AI prompts into learning programs.

-Proven experience creating AI-enabled learning content, including integrating AI concepts, prompts, exercises, and real-world use cases into professional development programs.

-Strong curriculum development and instructional design experience, with a focus on professional learning, eLearning, and adult learning principles.

-Exceptional business writing and content development skills, with the ability to translate complex AI, technology, and financial services concepts into clear, practical learning content.

-Financial Services subject matter expertise, including an understanding of industry trends, workforce evolution, regulatory considerations, and professional competencies.

-Strong critical thinking and editorial skills, with the ability to assess content quality, identify gaps, validate accuracy, and align content to learning objectives.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-Knowledge of investments, portfolio management, securities, and broader wealth management terminology.

-Familiarity with Financial Services professional development or certification programs.

-Experience writing scenario-based and practitioner-focused content for diverse professional audiences.

Job Description

Review and validate existing curriculum and learning content for accuracy, relevance, and alignment to current Financial Services and AI industry trends.

Edit, rewrite, and enhance existing learning materials to improve clarity, engagement, and learning effectiveness.

Integrate AI-related concepts, practical examples, and prompts into learning content where appropriate.

Create new learning content, scenarios, exercises, knowledge checks, and reflection activities when gaps are identified.

Ensure all content aligns with learning objectives, adult learning best practices, and a consistent practitioner-focused tone.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to incorporate feedback and manage content revisions.

Keep content current with evolving Financial Services, technology, regulatory, and workforce trends.
