This is a full-time, on-site Graphic Designer role based in Toronto, ON. The Graphic Designer will create visually compelling concepts and designs for retail displays, merchandising materials, and brand assets that align with client objectives and Protagon’s standards.
Day-to-day tasks include preparing print-ready and digital files, operating digital print press; and developing and refining branded graphics for display fixture production; and collaborating closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to translate briefs into effective visual solutions.
The role also involves exploring creative concepts, ensuring brand consistency across all touchpoints, and adapting designs for different retail formats and materials. The Graphic Designer will participate in internal reviews, make revisions based on feedback, and support production teams to ensure accurate execution of design intent.
Strong foundation in Graphic Design and production, with a portfolio showcasing retail, merchandising, or brand-focused display work.
Proficiency in branding and typography, including creating and adapting visual assets across multiple formats and ensuring brand alignment.
Advanced skills in industry-standard design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
Experience in transferring technical specifications, preparing production-ready files and collaborating with fabrication, print, or manufacturing teams.
Strong attention to detail, time-management skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to incorporate feedback from diverse stakeholders.
Post-secondary education in Graphic Design or a related field, or equivalent professional experience; retail or merchandising experience is an asset.
