English / Social Science Teacher (Grades 10–12) – Full-Time (On-Site, Toronto)

We specialize in supporting international students in Grades 9–12 to achieve the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) and transition successfully to university.

The Role

We are seeking a motivated and reliable English and/or Social Science Teacher to teach senior-level OSSD courses such as:

• ENG4U / ENG3U/ESL
• Senior Social Sciences

You will be working with international students and supporting both their academic development and transition into the Canadian education system.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons (Ontario curriculum)
• Prepare assessments, assignments, and learning materials
• Provide clear, constructive feedback on student progress
• Support students with varying English proficiency levels
• Maintain accurate records (marks, attendance, reports)
• Collaborate with administration and counselling team

What We’re Looking For

Required

• Bachelor’s Degree (Education, English, or Social Sciences)
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Ability to teach and support international students

Preferred (but not required)

• Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) certification
• Experience teaching OSSD courses (e.g., ENG4U)
• Experience in private or international school settings
