Full Time Server

Join our team at Mogouyan Hand-Pulled Noodles! | Bay–Dundas, Toronto

We are looking for an energetic, reliable, and highly responsible server who enjoys interacting with guests and can perform well during long, fast-paced shifts. This role is best suited for someone with strong common sense, excellent interpersonal skills, and fully flexible availability.

Position Details

• Full-time position, up to 44 hours per week
• Open availability across all seven days of the week is required
• Most scheduled shifts are full-day shifts
• Applicants must be available to work long shifts and adjust to weekly business needs
• The schedule changes weekly and is released every Wednesday

Typical Shift Times

• Full-day shift: 11:00 a.m. or 12:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. or 12:00 a.m. *preferred
• Morning shift: 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
• Evening shift: 6:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m. or 12:00 a.m.

Full-day availability is required, as most shifts will be scheduled as full days. Morning and evening half-shifts may be assigned depending on business needs.

What You’ll Do

• Welcome guests warmly and provide friendly, professional service
• Communicate confidently with guests and create a positive dining experience
• Take orders accurately, answer menu questions, run food, and process payments
• Carry and serve hot noodle soup safely through a busy dining room
• Prepare and serve beverages as required
• Bus and reset tables efficiently
• Support the entire front-of-house team during busy periods
• Keep the dining room, service stations, and work areas clean and organized
• Complete assigned opening, running, closing, and daily cleaning duties
• Follow company service procedures, scripts, and operating standards
• Handle guest concerns calmly, quickly, and professionally
• Take initiative and manage multiple responsibilities without constant supervision

Requirements

• Minimum one year of serving experience
• Must keep availability until end of the year.
• Full availability across at least 5 days preferred
• Must be available for all timing of shifts.
• Comfortable working shifts of up to 10–12 hours
• Able to adapt to a changing weekly schedule
• High energy and a positive attitude throughout long shifts
• Strong common sense, judgment, and problem-solving ability
• Able to prioritize tasks and remain organized under pressure
• Reliable, honest, punctual, and adaptable
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Outgoing personality and genuine enjoyment of speaking with guests
• Able to work independently while remaining a strong team player
• Able to lift and carry heavy trays, bus bins, supplies, and other restaurant items
• Able to carry multiple hot soup bowls steadily and safely without spilling
• Comfortable navigating crowded areas while carrying hot food
• English required; Mandarin is a strong asset
