Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair.
• Greet customers warmly, take their orders accurately, and provide friendly, attentive service throughout their visit.
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Toast to process transactions efficiently and accurately.
• Handle cash, credit card payments, and food handling with integrity and attention to detail.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment, and dining spaces in accordance with food safety standards.
• Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks when needed.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and customer satisfaction.

Skills

• Proven experience as a barista or in food service roles with a strong understanding of coffee preparation and serving techniques.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume periods.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, proper food handling procedures, and basic math for cash handling and transactions.
• Ability to perform multiple duties simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Previous experience in the food industry or serving roles is highly desirable to ensure seamless performance.
