Duties

• Prepare and serve acai bowls, smoothies, juices, and other menu items with precision and care
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS to process transactions efficiently and accurately
• Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cashiering duties with integrity and attention to detail
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the serving area, food prep stations, and dining space in compliance with food safety standards
• Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions about menu options, and ensuring guest satisfaction
• Manage time effectively during busy hours to serve customers promptly while maintaining quality standards
• Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene at all times

Requirements

• Previous barista or food service experience preferred; experience working with POS systems like Micros POS is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques
• Ability to perform basic math calculations for cash handling and order accuracy
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods
• Familiarity with food industry standards including serving, food preparation, and cleanliness protocols
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to stand for extended periods throughout shifts
