Office Support / Front Desk Assistant (Vacation Coverage)

We are seeking a reliable and organized individual to provide short-term vacation coverage in a busy office environment. This role is ideal for someone who is adaptable, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling both administrative and light facilities-related tasks.

Location: Adelaide St E, Suite 2600 Toronto, ON

Training Schedule: May 13–15: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM (3 half days)

Coverage Period: May 19–25: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Compensation

$18 – $24 per hour (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities

• Front desk coverage, including greeting visitors and handling inquiries
• Answering and directing incoming phone calls professionally
• Basic administrative support using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
• Assisting with meeting room setup and preparation
• Supporting light catering tasks for meetings/events
• Maintaining cleanliness of kitchen and shared office areas

Requirements

• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced office environment
• Previous administrative or front desk experience is an asset
