Reporting to the Vice President, Marketing & Public Affairs, the Director, Marketing, Communications & Brand provides strategic leadership for Toronto Hydro’s marketing, corporate communications, media relations, and brand management functions.
The role is responsible for developing and executing integrated communications and marketing strategies that advance the organization’s reputation, strengthen stakeholder engagement and support corporate priorities.
As the steward of the corporate brand, this role ensures a consistent and compelling brand experience across all internal and external communications channels, marketing initiatives and customer touchpoints.
The Director provides trusted strategic counsel to senior leadership, leads reputation and issues management initiatives, and oversees the development of impactful communications, marketing campaigns, and employee engagement programs.
This role also serves as the organization's Public Information Officer within the Incident Command Structure providing strategic leadership for crisis and emergency communications during incidents and emergency events.

This position is based in a hybrid environment allowing for remote work two days per week, based on business needs. Employees will be required to come onsite Tuesday to Thursday. You are expected to live in Ontario and within reasonable commuting distance of the office.
