Job Summary

The Reporting Specialist is responsible for developing, maintaining, and delivering high-quality reports and dashboards that support business decision-making. This role collaborates with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements, create meaningful metrics, and provide actionable insights through data visualization and narrative reporting.

The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, expertise in Tableau and Microsoft Office tools, and experience working with reporting platforms and data sources.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective reporting solutions.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards and reports using Tableau.
• Create and maintain reporting documentation, including KPI definitions, metric logic, and reporting processes.
• Perform data analysis and prepare recurring and ad hoc reports using advanced Excel.
• Develop executive-ready presentations and reporting packs using PowerPoint.
• Extract, validate, and analyze data from various systems to ensure reporting accuracy and consistency.
• Support ServiceNow reporting requirements and generate operational reports as needed.
• Produce narrative reports that clearly communicate trends, business performance, and key insights.
• Monitor data quality and recommend improvements to reporting processes.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to drive reporting standardization and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in business reporting, analytics, or reporting operations.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Tableau.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Experience documenting reporting metrics, KPIs, and reporting processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ServiceNow reporting.
• Experience performing data extracts and data validation.
• Ability to create executive-level narrative reports and business insights.
• Knowledge of reporting best practices and dashboard design principles.
• Familiarity with SQL or other data querying tools is an advantage.
