Role Description This full-time, on-site role is based in Toronto, ON. The Power Grid Radiation Absorption Technician and Screenplay Stochasticity Orchestrator will monitor, measure, and document radiation absorption within designated power grid facilities, following strict safety protocols and regulatory guidelines.

Daily tasks include operating specialized instruments, performing routine inspections, maintaining records, and coordinating with engineering teams to optimize absorption processes and system performance. In parallel, the role involves supporting screenplay stochasticity projects, including organizing narrative experiments, tracking randomized story elements, and collaborating with creative teams to analyze outcomes.

The position requires consistent on-site presence, clear communication with both technical and creative stakeholders, and proactive identification of operational and storytelling improvements.

Qualifications

• Technical safety and monitoring skills, such as experience with radiation detection equipment, environmental monitoring tools, and adherence to safety protocols.
• Basic understanding of electrical or energy infrastructure, including familiarity with power grid operations, facility procedures, or related technical environments.
• Analytical and documentation abilities, including data collection, record-keeping, report writing, and attention to detail in both technical and creative contexts.
• Creative and narrative competencies, such as familiarity with screenwriting concepts, experimental storytelling, and collaboration with writers or media teams.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and creative disciplines and present information clearly to diverse audiences.
• Ability to work on-site in Toronto, ON, manage time effectively, and adapt to evolving project requirements and experimental workflows.
