Reliability Engineer

We are seeking a qualified Reliability Engineer to join our Technical Services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring aircraft reliability performance, analysing technical trends and supporting corrective actions to improve fleet safety, availability and maintenance effectiveness.

Experience

Required

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in an Airline or CAMO or Aircraft Engineering or Reliability environment.
• Practical experience in aircraft reliability analysis and preparation of reliability reports.
• Experience in analysing repetitive defects, technical delays, turnbacks, component removals and other operational reliability data.
• Experience in coordinating technical issues with aircraft, engine and component manufacturers.
• Experience with Airbus A320 aircraft and IAE V2500 engines is preferred.

Minimum Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree in Aeronautical, Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical or Avionics Engineering; or
• Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Licence or recognised Aircraft Maintenance Qualification.
• Relevant Aircraft Familiarisation or Type Training is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Knowledge

Required

• Aircraft Reliability Programmes and Statistical analysis.
• Reliability Trend Monitoring, Alert levels and Root-cause analysis.
• MSG-3 methodology, MPD, MRBR and Aircraft Maintenance Programme principles.
• Analysis of Technical defects, delays, turnbacks and premature component removals.
• Development and monitoring of corrective actions.
• Maintenance programme escalation and de-escalation based on reliability results.
• AD/SB assessment and OEM technical coordination.
• Basic understanding of engine-health and oil-consumption monitoring.
• Applicable GCAA Continuing Airworthiness Requirements.
• Human Factors and Safety Management System principles.
