Information Technology Sales Executive

Location: Remote (UK) with occasional travel across the Midlands and North West to visit prospects

Omnia Systems is hiring a Sales Executive for a remote role, with occasional travel to prospects across the Midlands and North West.

Founded in 2011, we're a trusted MSP serving the Midlands and Northwest. As a small, agile team led by two technical experts, we value simplicity, efficiency, and collaboration. Your ideas will be heard, and your contributions will directly shape how we grow the business.

What You’ll Be Doing

New business (primary focus)

• Follow up promptly on inbound leads generated by our marketing activity
• Qualify prospects and run discovery/needs calls
• Present proposals and quotes, and close new business
• Maintain accurate records in our CRM/pipeline tool
• Build and manage a pipeline of prospective customers

Customer relationships (secondary focus)

• Run a quarterly check-in call with each existing customer, to build the relationship and understand how things are going
• Spot opportunities to introduce additional services to existing customers
• Be a friendly, familiar voice customers can reach for non-technical questions
• Flag any technical issues, complaints, or escalations to the technical lead

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in a sales or business development role (MSP/IT industry experience is a bonus, not a requirement)
• Confident, personable communicator, equally comfortable on the phone, over email, and in person
• Self-motivated and comfortable with a commission-driven structure
• Organised, with good follow-up discipline (leads and customer check-ins won't chase themselves)
• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle, with willingness to travel across the Midlands and North West to visit prospects
• Excellent communication skills and the confidence to work independently

• Base salary of £25,000-£27,000 (full-time equivalent; pro-rata if part-time) with uncapped commission

Commission Structure

• New business: 1 month's MRR per closed deal, plus 5% of one-off project/hardware value
• Renewals/upsells on existing accounts: half the new-business rate, 0.5 month's MRR per renewal/upsell, plus 2.5% on one-off work
• Payout timing: paid after the customer has been active for 90 days
• Cap: uncapped
