Project Information Coordinator

Sites: Manchester & North West Areas

To coordinate, manage and control project information throughout the lifecycle of construction projects, ensuring that documentation is accurate, up to date and available to project teams, clients, sub-contractors and consultants. The role will support efficient project delivery through effective document control and information management across the Manchester Projects.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage project documentation within the Common Data Environment (CDE).
• Control the issue, receipt and distribution of drawings, specifications and technical documents.
• Maintain drawing registers, document registers and revision histories.
• Ensure only current approved documents are available to project teams.
• Coordinate Requests for Information (RFIs), technical submissions and design information.
• Issue document transmittals to clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Support Design Managers, Project Managers and site teams with information flow.
• Monitor document approval workflows and chase outstanding responses.
• Prepare reports showing document status, outstanding actions and information schedules.
• Assist with BIM information management and ensure compliance with project information protocols where applicable.
• Support project handover by compiling Operations & Maintenance (O&M) manuals and completion documentation.
• Maintain accurate electronic project records in accordance with company procedures and ISO standards.
• Promote continuous improvement of document control processes.

Ideal Knowledge, Skills & Experience?

• Previous experience in construction document control or project information management Experience working for a main contractor is desirable.
• Knowledge of Common Data Environments such as Viewpoint .
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Good understanding of construction drawings and technical documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
