Website Developer / Web Designer

Overview

The current opportunity is available for current Manchester Met students. To apply you must be based in the UK for the duration of the role. We are launching a new international student competition at Manchester Metropolitan University and are seeking a creative and reliable website expert to design and develop a modern competition website.

Scope of Work

• Design and build a professional competition website
• Mobile‑friendly and responsive
• Registration form integration
• Clean branding and user‑friendly layout
• Ability to manage updates before and during the competition

Deadline to express interest: Sunday 1 March 2026.

Details of briefing/training: Detailed briefing will be provided. The role involves working with other students who are on our international ambassador programme and tutors from across the faculty.

Eligibility and Qualifications

This role is only open to current Manchester Met students who meet the following requirements:

• Experience with WordPress / Webflow / React or similar
• Strong UI/UX understanding
• Portfolio of previous websites
• Ability to deliver within 3–4 weeks
