Trade Loans AdvisorManchesterAs a Barclays Trade Loans Advisor, you will be working in the Trade Loans team based in Manchester which works on the end to end drawdown of Trade Loans, ensuring that all conditions of sanction and facility parameters are met. You will work in Trade Operations UK, which is in charge of the Client Servicing and the front and back end processing.

Within this role you will be reviewing new trade loan facilities, identifying operational requirements for drawdown, and recording against the client record.

What will you be doing?

• Setting up, maintaining and settlement of syndicated transactions
• Engaging with clients to explain the technical aspects of any drawdown or facility requests and providing guidance on solution
• Ensuring the accurate drawdown of new trade loan requests in line with the facility parameters, and undertaking all compliance checks such as sanction screening
• Handling accurate processing of payments to suppliers following drawdown of loans
• Completing any extension or early repayment requests received from clients
• Contacting clients to resolve queries in relation to drawdown requests receivedWhat we’re looking for:
• Ability to problem solve, prioritizing conflicting demands on their time
• Ability to be flexible to support the client, and colleagues
• Proven experience and competency of communicating by telephone, face to face and written, including complaints handling
• Broad knowledge of business processes and operational proceduresSkills that will help you in the role
• Knowledge of Trade product suite – Collections, Letters of Credit, BGIs, and Trade Loans
• Expertise in IT systems used in Trade OperationsWhere will you be working?
