Learning & Design Content DeveloperManchesterAs a Barclays Learning & Design Content Developer, you will be developing and building learning solutions in multiple formats and media in line with Barclays defined quality standards including Barclays Brand and Accessibility.

The Design team provides a critical role in the creation of bespoke learning programmes which are of critical and strategic importance to the organisation. Our propositions are designed to support the development of and help colleagues be successful in their roles/careers at Barclays.

What will you be doing?

• Supporting Development Leads in the scoping of business requirements for Learning projects
• Designing of new learning solutions or maintenance of existing
• You will be accountable for administration activities required for assignment of Learning solutions onto the LMS
• Designing learning solutions within the Learning design framework in line with internal standards
• Supporting Design Leads/Designers in management of external suppliers
• Maintaining project plans for new solutions or programme
• Actively ensuring that the quality of learning design undertaken across Barclays meet customer requirementsWhat we’re looking for:
• Learning solutions design experience
• Understanding of learning theories and techniques
• Financial Industry knowledge
• Good working knowledge of delivery of full training cycles – from needs analysis through to evaluationSkills that will help you in the role:
• Experience of Digital authoring tools (e.g. Storyline, Infographics, Adobe Creative Cloud)
• Advanced Instructional Design concepts
• Stakeholder Management/Consultancy experienceWhere will you be working?
