Canteen Chef

Richer Sounds are the UKs leading Hi-Fi, Home Cinema and TV specialists, and one of the largest Employee-Owned businesses in the UK. We are currently looking fora full time Canteen Chef to join our onsite canteen team at our office/ distribution centre in Openshaw, Manchester.

Role Responsibilities

As a Canteen Chef, you will be an integral part of the Richer Sounds team. You will be expected to support the Canteen Supervisor, including food preparation, cooking, cleaning and serving. Duties would include, but are not limited to:

Assisting with the preparation, setting up and serving of a variety of meals and snacks in line with food hygiene regulations along with other general assistance within the canteen.

Cleaning and safely storing kitchen equipment and dining furniture as required in designated areas.

Assisting with catering production and cooking duties for example meals, soup, sandwiches etc.

Keep on top of the stock rotation system and the appropriate storage of food goods and catering consumable stock.

Cashier duties and be responsible for operating a cashless register and catering system.

Covering the canteens Supervisor and taking the lead when they are not present.

Working in a safe and hygienic manner, assisting colleagues and ensuring compliance with food hygiene regulations at all times.
