Nuclear Process Engineer (Full-time / Part-time)

Your work will span across areas including new nuclear power station design, developing fusion technologies, or implementing new nuclear waste management processes. AtkinsRéalis is looking to grow our team of process engineers within the Nuclear & Power business. We work collaboratively to solve technical challenges across the entire project lifecycle, from concept design to decommissioning. Our day to day activities include production of various process engineering deliverables (process sizing calculations, heat & material balances, P&IDs, etc.), process modelling, and process safety activities (HAZID/HAZOP studies, DSEAR assessments, etc.).

About the Opportunity

• However, here are some ideal qualities: BEng/MEng in Chemical Engineering, working towards Chartership with the IChem
• E. Experience in the nuclear industry would be useful but not required – we welcome the learning you can bring from other industries.
• Experience in chemical process simulation software packages to design, optimize, and troubleshoot chemical processes.
