Junior Finance Business Partner

Junior Finance Business Partner | £25-29k | 6 month FTC (potential to extend)| Housing Charity | Manchester/Hybrid

This Junior Finance Business Partner role is an exciting opportunity to join a well-respected housing charity as the team develops and grows. This contract will be covering a maternity leave.

The role would include working with various stakeholder to help assist across budgeting/forecasting and general month-end processes, working closely with key members of the team both inside and outside of finance and contributing and developing existing processes to ensure efficiency across the management accounting function.

Previous business partnering experience isn't necessary for this role but the right attitude and personality to be proactive with various staff members will be key.

Key responsibilities;

• Provide support to both budget holders and other senior finance staff to deliver management information
• Assisting in the preparation of budgets for the department
• Producing various reporting for budget holders to help decision-making
• Work towards monthly financial reporting including P&L and Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Assist in the preparation of the monthly and quarterly forecasting
• Provide variance analysis and commentary on the financial performance of the department

Person specification;

• Experienced in month-end processes
• Ideally have some experience working in either a charity or housing association
• Strong excel skills
• A proactive and enthusiastic individual to work well in a fast-paced environment
• A strong communicator ideally with experience of working with a variety of stakeholders to deliver financial information
• A self-starter with the ability to work independently and proactively
