Role: Senior Finance Analyst (12-month FTC)

Location: Manchester

Hours: 8:45am-5:15pm (1 day a week from home)

Package: £45,000 + Bonus

We’re going through a period of significant strategic change, and the demands on Finance are growing fast. To keep pace, we’re looking for a Senior Finance Analyst who can bring clarity, challenge, and fresh thinking to the numbers - not just reporting them but telling the story behind them.

This role is focused on the Engagement, Cloud and Engineering departments. You won’t be preparing management accounts. Instead, you’ll be digging into performance, highlighting risks and opportunities, and giving senior leaders the insight they need to make better decisions.

You’ll also take responsibility for commission calculations and run ad-hoc analysis across our 37,000-strong client base; spotting trends others might miss.

While the role has been created to support us through this phase of change, there’s real potential for it to become permanent for the right individual.

What you’ll be doing

Turning financial data into clear narratives for senior management

Supporting monthly finance reviews with sharp, insight-led analysis

Owning commission calculations, ensuring accuracy and transparency

Running deep-dive analysis to uncover risks and opportunities across the client base

Partnering with department heads to understand what’s really driving performance

What we’re looking for

A finance analyst with proven experience delivering insight, not just numbers

Excellent Excel skills and the ability to build and adapt financial models

Experience with Power BI (or other BI tools) would be a big plus

Actively studying towards a professional accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)

Strong communication skills - able to explain the “so what” as clearly as the “what”

A proactive, curious mindset and the confidence to challenge assumptions
