Join a growing commercial flooring contractor.

Due to continued growth, we're looking for an ambitious Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team based in Manchester.

At Siteform, we specialise in commercial flooring packages across the UK, working with many of the country's leading main contractors on hotels, student accommodation, offices, healthcare, education and residential developments. Our projects range from £10k to over £1m, giving you exposure to a wide variety of work.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop into a fully qualified Quantity Surveyor, working alongside experienced commercial staff and directors.

The Role

Reporting to the Commercial Team, you'll assist with the commercial management of multiple live projects from order through to final account.

Your responsibilities will include

• Assisting with monthly applications and valuations.
• Preparing and submitting variations.
• Measuring works from drawings.
• Assisting with final accounts.
• Procurement of materials and subcontractors.
• Reviewing subcontract orders and contract documentation.
• Cost reporting and project forecasting.
• Visiting sites when required.
• Liaising with clients, site teams and suppliers.
• Supporting the commercial team with day-to-day project management.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is organised, commercially aware and keen to learn.

Ideally you'll have

• Experience working in a construction or subcontractor environment.
• HNC, HND or Degree in Quantity Surveying (or currently studying).
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• A full UK driving licence.

Experience within flooring or interiors would be advantageous but is not essential.

Pay: £25,420.00-£360,000.00 per year
