Junior Commercial Lawyer/ Legal Contracts Specialist

About the Role

Our customer, a wellness technology company is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Commercial Lawyer/ Legal Contracts Specialist to join their team on a 6-month fixed-term contract.

This role is ideal for someone who is early in their legal career, including non-qualified or foreign-qualified candidates, with experience in reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements within a global business environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and mark up a wide range of commercial contracts, including vendor, retail, wholesale, marketplace, sponsorship, and SaaS agreements.
• Assist with updating contract templates and providing opinions on contractual clauses.
• Support contract management processes, including filing, tracking, and general administration.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across different business functions in a fast-paced, international environment.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and assist in risk management initiatives.

Requirements

• Previous experience working in-house, ideally within a global company.
• Familiarity with US contracts is highly desirable.
• Strong contract review and drafting skills, with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
• Proactive, organised, and comfortable handling both legal and administrative tasks.
