Civil Engineer

We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Civil Engineer with 3–6 years of site-based experienceto support ongoing construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in sitesupervision, structural works, concrete casting activities, RFI management, and quality compliance.

The role requires hands-on site involvement, effective coordination with stakeholders, andadherence to project timelines and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure civil and structural works comply with approveddrawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Supervise and coordinate concrete casting activities for foundations, slabs, beams, columns,and other structural elements.
• Review, prepare, and respond to RFIs (Requests for Information) in coordination with the
• Senior Structural Engineer.
• Maintain detailed site records including daily progress reports, inspection logs, materialtracking, and quality documentation.
• Support senior engineers in resolving technical issues and ensuring work progressesaccording to the project schedule.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and other project stakeholders to address andresolve site-related challenges.
• Ensure strict adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards on-site.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering. 3–6 years of relevant experience in site supervision, preferably involving structural works.
• Strong understanding of structural systems, concrete casting procedures, and QA/QC processes.
• Experience in handling RFI processes and drafting clear technical responses.
• Ability to read and interpret structural drawings, specifications, and technical documents accurately.
• Strong organizational, reporting, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and site documentation tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working under the supervision of a Senior Structural Engineer on medium tolarge-scale projects.
• Familiarity with UAE/GCC construction practices, local regulations, and approval processes.
• Knowledge of inspection procedures, quality control standards, and documentationprotocols.
