Family Physician

Bridgeport Medical Clinic is recruiting one locum Family Physician to join their team. This consultant role involves providing primary care to enrolled patients with the additional option for shifts in the walk-in clinic.

There will also be an expectation to work occasional weekend and holiday day shifts during the year . These positions are available starting August 3, 2026 (negotiable start dates). Patient care activities will include, but are not be limited to: Assessment, evaluation, diagnostic determination, ongoing treatment and clinical management of acute and chronic medical issues, determination for subspecialist referral for consultation, care planning and modification, medications/therapeutic orders in close collaboration with allied health team members.

Regular patient contact and care management that actively encourages inter-professional care amongst patient care teams. Timely completion of all clinical documentation to ensure compliance with hospital policies, College of Physician and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) standards, and OHIP billing requirements. Teaching and supervision of medical trainees is desirable.

Participation in the academic mission of the local medical school is desirable. Performance of other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

Contract length: 36 months Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract Salary: $156,762.00-$414,157.00 per year COVID-19 considerations: PPE provided I see some interesting variety of family medicine up to 6 patients per hour from 9AM to 5PM (noon to 1PM lunch break or do paper work). It is a truly urban practice with mix of young patients with and without families, older patients, students, travel health etc.

Labs, imaging close by and pharmacy onsite. Telus PSS EMR and available stamps and stamplets, digital EMR assistant, dictate or write on paper and scan, make your data entry a breeze. Please come and work with me as an experienced MD, a NP, a Pharmacist and certified MOA. OHIP, UHIP, ODSP, WSIB, other private plans accepted in my practice.
