Math Teacher for Grade 10+

This is an in person role.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging mathematics lessons to students
• Provide individualized support and tutoring to students as needed
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods and materials to enhance student learning
• Create a positive and inclusive learning experience that promotes active participation and student engagement
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective instructional strategies
• Incorporate technology and interactive resources into lessons to enhance learning experience
• Foster a love for mathematics and promote critical thinking skills

Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field
• Previous experience teaching/tutoring mathematics preferred
• Knowledge of various teaching strategies and techniques for different learning styles
• Experience working with students with special education needs is a plus

Skills

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong ability to explain complex mathematical concepts in a clear and concise manner
• Proficient in using technology tools for instruction and assessment purposes
• Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Passion for educating students and fostering their academic growth

Pay: $23.00-$24.00 per hour
