Personal Support Worker (PSW) - Part Time (Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge)

Attention Waterloo Region Personal Support Workers! We are seeking qualified PSWs to join our team.

At Promyse Home Care, our experienced nurses and caregivers provide high-quality, compassionate support to seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those who are chronically or terminally ill.

We are looking for caring, reliable, and flexible Personal Support Workers (PSWs) who are passionate about making a meaningful difference.

We are searching for candidates that would be available for:

• Consistent hours based on your availability
• Part-time hours available
• Must be available weekends and evenings
• Willing to travel within the Waterloo Region

Responsibilities

You must be comfortable and experienced in providing

• Personal care (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
• Meal preparation based on care plan
• Light housekeeping (mopping, laundry, dishes, kitchen cleaning)
• Home support
• Companionship
• Appointment accompaniment

Required Qualifications

• Certified PSW / HCA / International Nurse (RN/RPN equivalent)
• Minimum 1–2 years' experience caring for seniors or disabled adults
• Clean Vulnerable Sector Screening (within 3 months of hire)
• Current CPR/First Aid certification
• Negative TB test or Chest X-ray
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
• Strong verbal and written English skills
• Personal cellphone with mobile data
• Able to start within 1–7 days

This role will be required to travel to client's homes located in Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge and surrounding communities.

• Paid PSW work : 1 year (required)
